In order for you to have a small taste of what you will experience we will make a small reference of the places you will visit. The little church of Virgin Vlaherena and the picturesque Chapel of Pantokratora which has few visitors and it is built on the famous island named Pontikonisi (Mouse Island). The latter is positioned at the heart of the lagoon just a few meters away from the airport where airplanes fly right above your head and all of that consist a breathtaking scenery.
Another visit will be at the temple of Saint Jason and Sosipater which consists one of the most ancient and well preserved monument of Byzantine period. Furthermore, on this tour we cannot exclude the Metropolitan Temple of Saint Theodora where one can find her relic, and last but not least the church of Saint Spyridon where nothing prepares you for what you will witness once you enter inside. There, solemnity and emotions feed the faith of the locals and confirm the common belief that Saint Spyridon is the protector of the island.
